M.A.L.evolent Production started out as L.A.M. Production. The name was quickly changed, because "L.A.M." just doesn't sound as good as "M.A.L.evolent"
M.A.L.evolent Production released it's first video on June 7, 2006, out of a joined effort by Tommy Masters, Mark Andrews, and me.
Tommy started the whole operation rolling by taking a camcorder along on one of our nightouts in mid-January, 2006. He did most of the filming that first night, and Mark contributed with providing the camcorder. I then took the footages and edited them on my beloved Macintosh.

Since Tommy and Mark are in the band Junction Five, and I'm their official videographer, I've accumulated a large video collection of their live shows. The best clips and shows are picked from the collection, and they are edited, and placed on either the Junction Five's youtube page or on DVD. We have discussed selling the DVD at Junction Five's live shows, but we have not reach a decision yet. But, if anyone is interested in getting a copy of the DVDs listed below, send me an e-mail!

| My current camcorder of choice is a Sony DCR-TRV730 Digital8 camcorder. It records onto 8mm tapes in the DV format. It has an optical zoom of 18x, and a digital zoom of 500x, an 1-megapixel 1/4" CCD image sensor, a 2.5" color LCD screen, and 12/16 bit stereo recording. It can also record MPEG or take JPEG picture onto the Memory stick. It also has Sony's super NightShot. Its original MSRP was $1,099 back in 2001. I bought it used on eBay for less. |

It has a 20x optical zoom, a 360x optical zoom, a 1/4" CCD image sensor, a 4" color LCD monitor, a color viewfinder, and 12-bit or 16-bit PCM digital audio. It can also take digital photos. It has Sony's super NightShot. it was Sony's first Digital8 camcorder, and when it came out back in 1999, the MSRP was $1,399. It was bought on eBay for less. |
| My first camcorder is this Sony CCD-TRV68, bought in 2001 by my parents, to record our 2001 Hong Kong/China trip. It records analog Hi8 video onto 8mm tapes. It has an optical zoom of 20x, a digital zoom of 460x, a 1/4" CCD image sensor, and a 2.5" color LCD screen. It has Sony's NightShot. My parents bought it new from Sears in 2001, but I can't remember how much it was. |
