Jack Bauer. Federal Agent, Counter Terrorism Unit. Lone defender of America against all foreign and domestic terrorists. When Jack is around, no terrorism plot is safe. This pretty much describes what 24 is about. 24 is by far the most exciting show on tv today. You never know what could happen next. If there is a terrorist attack, there is at least five more in the work. When you think that they've caught the bad guy, there is always another one worse and more powerful behind the scene. When you think that one group is responsible for the attacks, another unrelated group is behind the scene pulling all the strings. Jack himself is equally unpredictable. You never know what he's going to do next, or to what extend he's willing to take things in order to achieve his objectives. No one, not even his co-workers, best friend, the US government, or even his family can get into his way, if he is determined to get through them to get to what he needs. Any method can be utilized to protect the American public. |

Sons of Anarchy (2008-current), aired on FX every Tuesday at 10pm, is about the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. The original chapter, which was found in 1967 in the fictional town of Charming, California, is also known as Samcro, which stands for "Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original". The club is headed by Clarence "Clay" Morrow, played by Ron Perlman, with Jackson "Jax" Teller (played by Charlie Hunnam) as the VP, along with Harry "Opie" Winston (played by Ryan Hurst), Filip "Chibs" Telford (Tommy Flanagan), Piermont "Piney" Winston (William Lucking), Robert "Bobby" Munson (Mark Boone Junior), Jean Carlos "Juice" Ortiz (Theo Rossi), Kip "Half Sack" Epps (Johnny Lewis), and Alex "Tig" Trager (Kim Coates). Dr. Tara Knowles (Maggie Siff) is Jax's girlfriend, and the Club's EMT, when someone gets hurt. The club has a long standing relationship with Charming Police Chief Wayne Unser (Dayton Callie), who from time to time turns a blind eye to the club's activity. Samcro uses the Teller-Morrow auto repair shop as its front and clubhouse, but deals automatic firearms as its main source of income. Samcro is opposed to having drugs in Charming, and has used various means, including violence, to keep drugs out. Samcro is multi-racial, and they dealt firearms to various groups, regardless of their races. This sets the scene for season 2, with "The League" as their main enemy. "The League", short for "League of American Nationists", is a white supremacy group that is trying to move into Charming, and they're trying to use various means to get rid of Samcro. This include raping Gemma, bombing the auto shop, injuring Chibs, and attacking "Otto", a Samcro member who's serving time in prison. |

The main character is a doll known as Echo, played by Buffy alum Eliza Dushku. Angel alumni Amy Acker, who played Fred, also stars in Dollhouse as Dr. Claire Saunders. The Dollhouse specializes in human mind imprints. The have a large collection of memory imprints in their library. Anytime a client has a special need, like a professional thief, a hostage negotiator, a special girlfriend/boyfriend, a spy, or pretty much anything people can think of, the Dollhouse will take one of their dolls (each one a tabula rasa, or a blank slate), imprint his/her brain with the desire memory, and turn the doll into the person the client needs. When the job is done, the doll returns to the Dollhouse, and has his/her memory erased, returning him/her to the tabula rasa state. |

OVERVIEW
Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It was one of the best TV series of its time, and one of the best TV series ever. The story-telling was high quality, never boring, always kept the viewers guessing, and always suspenseful. It had, and still has a cult following. It was one of the darker TV series out there, and is still darker than a lot of TV shows today.
SEASON SEVEN (2002-2003)
The season started on September 24, 2002 on UPN! In the season premier, why was Spike having visions of all the previous major villians of all the past seasons at the end of the episode? Warren morphed into Glory, then Adam, then Mayor Wilkins, then Drusilla, then the Master, and finally into Buffy. They were all telling Spike things, and the final line was something about who has the power. Something weird was going on...
Potentials. Potential slayers were still arriving, joining the fight against the First. Chloe, one of the potentials, just killed herself, and this made the gang more committed to get rid of the First.
Now that we were half way into the season, we knew that the weird thing that's going on was caused by The First (the original evil). The First was trying to destroy the slayer line by killing all the slayers-in-training, and then Buffy, and then Faith. Anya became an ex-demon again, and Willow was back, working hard to control the power she has.
This being the last season of Buffy, was also one of the best seasons. The First did a good job in its attempts to destroy the slayer line. Kalib was an excellent villain. Completely unremorseful, committed to the cause of destroying the slayer line. He was hated for blinding Xander in one eye, and it was great when he was killed. In the end, the plan of turning every potentials into actual slayers was genius, and even though Sunnydale was destroyed, Buffy could live a new life, since she was not the only one (slayer) anymore. Sad to see Anya die. Spike died, but he returned in Angel's next season, so it was cool.
SEASON SIX (2001-2002)
This quote describes the final conflict in season six. It all started after Buffy was brought back from the dead with a spell by Willow. Giles wasn't all too happy about Willow using such dark magic, but was glad to have his slayer back. He returned to England shortly after, because he thought Buffy should grow up and not depend on him for everything. Things started to go down hill from there. Buffy didn't feel like she was really back, and began to have sex with Spike. Dawn developed a stealing problem, and stole from almost every stores in Sunnydale. Xander, engaged to Anya, changed his mind at the very last minute and left Anya at the alter. This completely broke Anya's heart, and she became a vengence demon again. Willow became more and more powerful as a witch, and Tara broke up with Willow because Willow was abusing her power. Willow then quitted magic, and things between Tara and Willow were getting better. While all these were happening, the evil trio, Warren, Jonathan, and Andrew, who were all high school classmates of Buffy, Xander, and Willow, began to execute their (lame) plan to take over Sunnydale. They were the most annoying bad guys to ever hit Sunnydale, and they were getting close to their goal, when Buffy put an end to their evil plan, and put Jonathan and Andrew in jail. Warren, never wanted to lose, shot Buffy, and accidentally killed Tara with a stray bullet.
This caused Willow to completely immerse herself in the darkest of all magic, and to go after Warren, Jonathan, and Andrew. The über-witch Willow hunted Warren down, tortured Warren with the bullet that hit Buffy, completely skinned Warren at the end, and burned him into nothing. Buffy, Xander, and Anya, unable to stop the killing of Warren, tried to save Willow from killing more people, by protecting Jonathan and Andrew from the über-witch Willow. Buffy and Willow fought, and Buffy almost lost, until Giles returned to try to stop Willow with magic. He succeeded for a little while, and binded the über-witch Willow in a magic ring, but Willow broke free, and ended up taking all of Giles' rented power. With the most power no one on earth has ever possessed, Willow was "connected" to everything and everyone, and could feel the pain and suffering of everyone on earth. Unable to stop the dark magic inside her, the über-witch Willow decided to end all the suffering by ending the world. Buffy was trapped in a sink hole caused by Willow, Giles was hurt in the fight with Willow, and Xander was the only one left to stop Willow. He convinced Willow that he cares about her no matter how evil she becomes, and finally got to the speck of humanity left inside her. The world is saved, by Xander, and everything was back to normal, until the cliff hanger of the season, when we found out that Spike got his soul back. Can we live with two vampires with souls?
R.I.P.
Season 6 saw the death of one of my favorite characters, Tara. She was killed by a stray bullet fired by Warren at Buffy. And for that, Warren deserved his death. In Angel, we also saw the death of Darla. She staked herself in order to save her baby, and that showed how good a person Darla could be with a soul. Only if Connor/Steven knew the sacrifices his parents made, and not seal Angel in a metal coffin and dump him into the ocean... Holtz's evil influences on Connor/Steven continues.
TWO OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS GONE...
SEASON FIVE (2000-2001)
In its fifth season, the biggest news was the arrival of Buffy's sister, Dawn, and the addition of Tara into the scooby gang. It was sad that Buffy's mom died, and even sadder when Buffy died at the season finale. But we knew that Joss Whedon, the show's creator, had ways to bring characters back. So we would see what happened next season. The season's big bad, Glory, was a very cool, and conscienceless god. She would be missed, for her complete lack of humanity
SEASON FOUR (1999-2000)
Buffy and the gang entered college, Angel left and moved to LA, and there was this "little" top secret government agency named the Initiative, operating under the UC Sunnydale campus, capturing and experimenting with demons. Professor Walsh, the scientific leader of the group, created the demon/human/machine hybrid Adam, and he decided that his mission in "life" was to kill everything. So Buffy destroyed Adam.
SEASON THREE (1998-1999)
Senior year in high school. Mayor Wilkins, Faith turned bad, the Mayor turned into a giant snake demon at Sunnydale High's graduation ceremony, tried to eat everyone, the students fought back, and Buffy blew the demon up with explosive.
SEASON TWO (1997-1998)
Drusilla and Spike tried to kill Buffy, Angel lost his soul and became Angelus, so Buffy kill him, and sent him to hell.
SEASON ONE (1997)
The Master.
PICTURES
My favorite characters on the show. BTVS has helped its previously unknown stars to become some of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood:
Most of them are from www.buffyguide.com, with the following exceptions: Amy Acker's picture is from http://www.efanguide.com/, Elizabeth Anne Allen's picture is from http://www.elizabethanneallen.com/, Robia La Morte's picture is from www.angelfire.com/tv/jennycalender, J. August Richards' picture is from http://www.geocities.com/jaronline/images/, Stephanie Romanov's picture is from www.angelfire.com/tv2/lilah/, Iyari Limon's picture is from http://store.comicfusion.net/jul044217.html, Clara Bryant's photo is from http://www.angeltowns.com/members/clarabryant/site/main.html
Angel, the very successful spin off from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, has earned its rights as a show by itself, but its life was cut short by the WB.
SEASON FIVE (2003-2004)
The "fang gang" was running the show at Wolfram and Hart. New characters included Spike, Eve, and Dana. They had the usual big company issues, with a demon twist. Angel did his best to use W&H's resources to combat evil, and Harmony, being Angel's secretary, was quite hilarious. A whole episode was dedicated to Harmony and her role in the company. The biggest shocker of the season (and the saddest) was the death of Fred, after she was infected with a mystical virus, and her body was used by the ancient demon Illyria to resurrect itself. ( <---photo ) Illyria tried to destroy the world, but she had no army to help her, because her kingdom had been destroyed. After some of her superpower was drained to keep Illyria from self-destructing, she tried to learn the human's way, and helped Angel a little. Lindsey, from season 1 & 2, returned as the secret lover of Eve. Turned out Eve was helping Lindsey to get back at the senior partners and Angel, but they failed. Eve was eventually forced to hand her powers to Hamilton (the new liaison), and Lindsey was imprisoned by the senior partners. Cordelia woke up from her coma, helped guided Angel back onto the correct path, and then she died at the end of the episode. That was the second saddest moment of the season.
SEASON FOUR (2002-2003)
The Beast turned Los Angeles into a demon playground, by blocking out the sun. Angel became Angelus, and Cordelia (or at least something pretending to be her) was the boss of the Beast, and no one knew about this yet. Oh yeah, Cordelia also killed Lilah, the last surviving member of Wolfram and Hart. By the end of the season, Angel's soul was restored by Willow, Cordelia gave birth to Jasmine, who enslaved everyone, but at the same time, brought peace to the world. She was eventually killed by Connor, and the senior partners rewarded Angel and everyone at Angel Investigation for "ending world peace", by giving them the L.A. office. Lilah was back for now, because the contract she signed before joining Wolfram and Hart required her to keep working for them, even after her death. So she was back from hell, still dead, but acted like she was alive, and she handled the hand-over. Angel appearantly made some kind of a deal, and gave Connor a new life.
SEASON THREE (2001-2002)
The show was back with darker shockers and plot. One shocker was finding out that Darla, a vampire, was pregnant with Angel's baby. Another shocker was finding out that Darla was becoming more human with her baby, because the baby, who has a soul, was fueling Darla's souless self with human attributes like guilt and love. The most shocking was that Darla would kill herself to save the baby from dying in her womb and from any future harm she might inflict on the baby. Season three also saw the addition of a new member to Angel Investigation, Fred (short for Winifred). She had proved to be more geeky than Wesley, but probably better with science than anyone else on the team. One interesting turn in the plot was the conversion of Cordelia into part demon, so she could continue to receive visions for Angel, without getting herself killed by them. As the season progressed, we saw the return of Angel's nemesis from 200 years ago, Holtz. He continued his plan for vengeance, and caused havoc in Angel Investigation. Wesley, in a way, betrayed everyone by trying to sneak Angel's baby away, because he thought Angel was going to kill his son. Holtz used this chance to kidnapped Angel's son, Connor, and escaped to a demonic dimension. Angel thought he lost his son forever. But then Connor returned to earth, as a teenager. Because he was raised by Holtz, Connor continued Holtz's plan of vengeance, and during the season finale, tricked Angel into a metal coffin. With help from Justine, Holtz's accomplice, Connor dumped Angel into the ocean.
SEASON TWO (2000-2001)
In season two, the most exciting thing was the return of Darla, played by Julie Benz. She was killed by Angel on April 14, 1997, when episode seven of season one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was aired. Now she's back, and it's interesting to see what she would do now, after returning from hell.

THIRD WATCH
Third Watch (1999-2005), an excellent police, firefighters, and paramedics drama, was cancelled by NBC at the end of the 2004-05 season. The show was one of the best dramas out there, a little dark at times, but that's the way I like them. It was replaced by a new Law and Order show, was was cancelled also.
Law And Order: Special Victim Unit & Law And Order: Criminal Intent
South park (1997-current), a story about four very best friends: Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick. The four of them seems to be constantly getting into trouble, and their parents are always there to make everything worse.
MONK
Stories about the obessive compulsive detective Adrien Monk, aired on Friday nights on USA.
Aired on NBC every Monday night at 10pm. Has been moved to Sunday night at 10pm.
