About: Junction Five is a local Rochester band, who plays a mixture of alternative rock, infused with electronic, a little bit of metal & punk. Its music is generally hard to describe, some songs are heavy and fast-paced, some are slow and mellow, some are dark, and some are considered "happy songs". None of them sounds like anything that's out there. Formed in 2000, the band took a break in early 2005, and remaining members Aaron Conn and Tommy Masters reformed the band in 2006 with Jason Hyatt and Mark Andrews. Zack Becker joined in November of 2006. They are always playing shows in Rochester and surround cities.

After playing a show at the Penny Arcade on June 30, 2007, Junction Five decided to take a break. The guys then took a 2-year hiatus. During that time, Zack Becker & Jason Hyatt left, drummer Danny Roelle joined the band in early 2009, and Junction Five played their "come-back show" at the Penny Arcade on July 24, 2009. They have since opened for bands like Creed, Electric Six, Sponge, and Days Of The New.
